“I wonder how long dog beds have been around for?” we pondered in the Boeboes workroom this week.
Dogs can sleep anywhere. But what about the quality of their sleep for rest and rejuvenation? American Eugene Kruck invented the first proper dog bed in 1954. His rather complicated aims included providing a dog bed with a cover blanket made up of two sheets that could have an extra layer inserted, that would also allow the dog to stand upright underneath the cover. Yikes!
