Who are Boeboes?

The Boeboes range of high quality, luxury soft furnishings were dreamed up and launched by sisters Francesca and Olivia Johns during Covid 19 restrictions. The brand is an online extension of the highly acclaimed soft furnishings manufacturer Audrey Johns Ltd which has been in business for over 40 years and is now in its second generation of family ownership.

‘Boeboes’ is a word from the sisters’ childhood summoning up cosy images of sitting on a comfy sofa in pyjamas and drinking hot chocolate before bed. Homeliness and comfort are Boeboes’ raison d’etre.

Our range of soft furnishings (cushions, Roman blinds, bed dressings and dog beds) concentrate on popular essential colours appealing to everyone. These are combined with heavy winter fabrics such as velvet and wool, and light, summery linens to the sisters’ own styles and tastes.

Most dogs get enough sleep to live happy, relaxed lives. But here are some suggestions to ensure your dog's routine and surroundings support their sleep.

Regular Schedule: Your dog may prefer a set routine to help them relax. Try a similar schedule out each day to see if your dog rests more easily.

Sleep On Their Own: Sharing a bed with your dog can disrupt sleep patterns for both humans and canines, even if owners are unaware of the disturbances.

We asked our team how they keep their own Boeboes dog beds spick and span

“Ideally, we’d wash our dogs down every time they come in from outside before climbing on their Boeboes dog bed, but unfortunately life isn’t always like that! We do a quick once over with a vacuum cleaner to remove hair and bits of mud. But we never try to get stains out ourselves with water, soap or commercial products as the chances are that the stain could be rubbed in deeper. The covers come up as good as new with a visit to the dry cleaner meaning they will last our furry friend for many years to come.”

World Oceans Day is observed annually around the globe to emphasise the oceans' significance as oxygen and food sources, climate regulators, and the need for conservation. This year’s theme is ‘Awaken New Depths’. Maybe you could consider doing a litter pick along the coast (if you’re nearby!) to celebrate?
