Halloween is here

But it doesn't have to be scary if you are surrounded by some plump, comfy cushions to put over your ears. This practice dates back to medieval times and was common in the 1800s, with Souler's songs sung in a lamenting tone. Souling is still practiced in some areas of Sheffield and Cheshire during Halloween, as well as in parts of Wales, Portugal, and the Philippines.
