Top tips for pup’s sleep spot
So, where is the best place to put a dog's bed? The RSPCA recommends positioning the dog bed in a cosy, draught-free area and providing your dog with choices. Consider placing one bed in a peaceful corner of the house for uninterrupted rest, and another in a communal space where the family gathers, allowing your dog to relax or nap comfortably while enjoying your company.
Wherever they prefer to sleep, it’s important that they get plenty of time to rest after all those walkies and playing. You could even consider getting a couple of Boeboes dog beds (if you can’t decide which, get one in each colour!) so your dog can move comfortably from place to place without you needing to move their favourite bed each time. Luxury Boeboes designer dog beds are available on our website 24/7 and arrive with you in 7-10 working days.
How do our skilful Boeboes luxury dog bed professionals keep their own dogs happy?
“When our dogs aren’t relaxing or resting on their favourite Boeboes luxury dog beds, we are interacting with them to keep them happy – and naturally it’s for our benefit too!
• Food and water – these always feature highly in a doggy day.
• Exercise - key to their fitness and health in appropriate amounts for their breed, age and health. Mix it up with a bit of swimming or playing fetch while out and about.
• Playing – as well as throwing a ball or stick, some dogs love a game of hide and seek or you can even chase each other.
• Training – ongoing reminders keep you and your dog safe and satisfied.
• Toys and enrichment – chewing on a toy or bone is natural behaviour, but adding an element of food brings a whole different dimension to your canine friend.
In return you should have a happy, healthy dog with their unconditional love and devotion for many years.”
Remember, remember!
The fifth of November. Gunpowder, Treason and Plot.
Despite Guy Fawkes’ failed attempt to blow up the Houses of Parliament on 5th November 1605, many of us still absolutely love a spectacular, professionally organised fireworks display at this time of year. But unfortunately not all our dogs share this joy.
As luck would have it, The Dogs Trust offers some really helpful advice to help nervous dogs cope. One of their top tips is to create a safe space which could include a den - your Boeboes dog bed - under a table with extra blankets to snuggle into and to cover the top of the table thus keeping out some of the bangs and flashes. We wish any nervous pups out there as comfortable a Bonfire Night as possible.
