What are made-to-measure Roman blinds?

They are custom-made to fit your window perfectly, with your choice of fabric, colour/pattern, blackout lining, and chain colour/position. From striped to floral Roman blinds, patterned blinds, and blackout blinds, we have the perfect blind for your home. 

What is the alternative?

Readymade blinds – these are available in standard sizes, suitable for generic modern windows, but not for large or uniquely sized windows like patio doors.

What are the main differences?

Made-to-measure blinds are customised to fit any window shape and size, avoiding the need for trimming that can leave readymade options looking unfinished. They offer superior quality, better aesthetics, and a range of customisation choices in fabrics, colours, and finishes. While they generally cost more than readymade blinds, they do last significantly longer - typically about five times as long - making them a worthwhile investment.

They can be made to fit your window – inside or outside of the window recess, and with the exact drop, and margin of wall coverage or closeness to the internal window recess wall you like.

What special options are available?

When ordering from Boeboes, you can choose the size, fabric, blackout lining, style (plain or banded), and fittings (chain colour and side). The website guides you through the simple options and ordering process. Plus we have a step-by-step installation guide for you and you can even order up to five free fabric samples before making your final selection.

How long to make and ship?

7-10 working days. So you could quite feasibly go from ordering to hanging them within a fortnight.
